Steeped in the historical traditions of Hawai‘i, Saint Louis School continues a rich legacy of educating and challenging boys to be gentlemen of character through spiritual, intellectual, and physical development. Through the fundamental Catholic social principle of stewardship for all God’s creation, we believe that the heritage we leave our children includes assuring them of a sustainable, livable planet.
The Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative provides a forward-thinking venue for living this principle. The restoration of Hawai‘i’s endemic forests today ensures tomorrow’s children of an island environment where nature is once again in its rightful balance.
Be part of our island heritage in developing and nurturing this unique & balanced ecosystem: from each $60 purchase of a Legacy Tree naming Saint Louis School as beneficiary, $30 will go toward the continuation of a legacy in learning started in 1846. A Certificate of Planting will be provided, complete with the GPS and RFID information which will allow you to track your tree on the computer and from Google Earth.
Saint Louis School is honored to invite you to share in gifting for the future of our island home while perpetuating the rich legacy of our traditions and commitment towards excellence.
